Chamber Corner: Fall Fest wrap-up, Celebrate 50/50, BV Board decision
We have certainly been spoiled, with the absolute best of Fall weather. Lots of work done in yards, and major projects are progressing nicely as Mother Nature continues with bonus unseasonal weather. It was a joy last week to see how many people came and harvested the Mum’s and grasses out of the boxes uptown. Fall Fest on Main is in the books
Writing this on Friday Morning before the Festival. So as you read this on Monday or Tuesday, the first Walnut Fall Festival will be in the books. I have every bit of confidence that it will go well. These early morning temps certainly tell the story of our next approaching season. Not many leaves falling yet, but with the lawn mowing slowing down and the Summer flowers and gardens going away, it is truly a sign of Fall coming to the Midwest. Perhaps our biggest sign is the harvest of crop. A week ago very little going on, this past week, the Combines, trucks and wagons all found their way out of the storage sheds.
