Chamber Corner: Membership Drive is underway

Our Membership Drive for 2019 is well underway and we appreciate those that continue to support the Chamber.

If you have interest in being a member for the first time, please reach out to me. We have individual, couple and business memberships. If you are short on time with a bunch of other commitments, members can just financially support the Chamber and our endeavors. However, if you want to be more involved you can financially support, attend meetings, volunteer at events, etc. We appreciate any support you give.

We had a Chamber meeting this past week. We voted on this year’s Hall of Fame inductees, which will be announced soon. We received a really good number of nominations this year which was great. We want to thank all those who submitted nominations and want you to know we thoughtfully considered each one.

The Hall of Fame inductees will be honored at our Chamber Banquet on April 1st. We are currently taking reservations for the banquet. Cost is $20 for individual or $35 per couple. The cost of the ticket includes your meal. State Senator Chuck Weaver will be on hand as our Keynote Speaker for the evening. It will be a great night.

In business news, Pass it Along has a new home. The new location is just a few buildings north on Main Street from the old location. The new location, which is two connected buildings, provides much more room and a better layout. Thanks to all who volunteered in the moving process. I’ve been told the first day open at the new location was a record setting day in sales! Please continue to support Pass it Along!
