48th Annual Chamber Banquet Postponed
It’s amazing how much our world has changed just in the past week with the COVID-19 virus. Events, theme parks, schools, and even churches cancelling until further notice.
As a Chamber, we have decided to stay proactive in an effort to limit the spread of this virus and have decided to postpone this month’s Chamber Banquet. The health and safety of our residents is our top concern at this time.
The decision was not an easy one but as a board it was a unanimous decision to postpone. As of today, we don’t have a make-up date but we are committed to still holding the Banquet in the upcoming months. When information is available on a make-up date we will make it known. Thank you to those that have RSVP’d for the event. We have been looking forward to this evening for quite awhile!
In the meantime, there is no need for panic. Just common sense. Wash your hands, cover your mouth, and if you are sick stay home.
Economically, this will be a tough time for businesses. Continue to support our local merchants as much as possible!
