Chamber Corner: Good Things Happening in Walnut
I don’t know if you have realized but there are a lot of good things happening in Walnut. TCI just broke ground on their 5th expansion project in 19 years. It’s expansion will be a 30,000 square foot structure just west of their current location. They are also expanding their office with a two-story addition and are working with V&C Construction on that project. Congratulations TCI on their success and the quality work they do. More great news from that is 20+ loads of dirt f

WOW holds its one-year anniversary meeting
Last Thursday night, all the Working on Walnut committees reconvened for a one-year anniversary meeting at the Community Building. I have to say it was two hours well spent. Those in attendance heard reports from each committee that highlighted their accomplishments, what they’ve learned the past year and what their future goals are. We also participated in a few activities and ended the night with a short discussion on the Fritz building on Main Street and WOW’s involvement

Well, November is here and now we quickly transition from pumpkins to Christmas trees. Several area businesses have already put out their Christmas displays in preparation for the holiday season. This is a great time to shop Walnut. If you look around at our stores in town, you might be surprised how much you can actually purchase in Walnut without leaving town. On Thursday, we had a Working on Walnut Coordinating Council meeting. At these meetings we hear reports from all th
